RealTime Interactive Security Service and RISSHub Terms of User

Effective Date: July 21, 2025

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the RISS Privileged Administrator App, and the RealTime Interactive Security Status App (“App”) with RISSHub services provided by RISS.

By using the App or related RISSHub services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App or services.

RISS Privileged Administrator App

Owners and Users of the RISS Privilege Administrator App agree to use the App to only login to their own real-time database. RISS Privilege Administrator App Users are responsible for the creation of a compatible Firestore Realtime database and URL to configure private and independent RISS Groups outside of RISSHub support services. The RealTime Interactive Security Status App will be compatible with the proper setup of this database and the owner may invite RealTime Interactive Security Status Users to join their independent database. Independent Users are encourage to create a Privacy Policy for their Users.

RealTime Interactive Security App and RISSHub Services

1. Use of Services

  • You must be a validated user with a verified email address to use the App with RISSHub services.
  • Optional data such as your name, phone number, room number, role, and location may be shared within your assigned group.
  • Location sharing is optional and may be turned off in the app or in your device settings at any time.
  • Users are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of any information they provide.

2. DataBase Management

  • The realtime database is managed by RISSHub Support.
  • RISSHub support has the authority to manage group access and visibility, including the ability to set user status to “unconfirmed,” limiting app access.
  • RISS is not responsible for the policies or administration of groups not using RISSHub services.
  • RISS Privileged Administrator App Users may not configure to RISSHub services or try to logon to RISSHub realtime database.
  • RISSHub support may remove or exclude a User from RISSHub services for false incident reporting.

3. Data Storage

  • All data is stored in a Firebase Realtime Database (RTDB) and is accessible only within the assigned group.
  • RISS is not responsible for data storage or privacy for users using the App without RISSHub services or those hosted by independent owners of the Privileged Administrator App.

4. Termination

  • You may stop using the App at any time.
  • Your account may be restricted or limited by your group’s Privileged Administrator.

5. Modifications

  • RISS may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be made available in the App or on the RISSHub website with an updated effective date.
